Q2: Where is suitable for using solar air conditioners?
a) Solar energy is clean green power. Using solar air conditioner can reduce carbon
emissions greatly. To protect our environment, we can use solar air conditioners anywhere with sunshine.
b) For area be short of electricity supply
c) For area without power supply (our solar air conditioners can be driven 100% by solar panels).

Q3: How does the solar air conditioner work?

A: Solar panels provide DC power to batteries; Batteries drive air conditioner to run for cooling and heating.

Q4: How many watt solar panel we need to drive Sunshine solar air conditioner?

TKF Power Consumption = TKF Input power * Running time (hours)
Power Supply: output capacity of solar panel * Sunshine time (hours)
Power available = Power from solar panel + power stock in batteries
If you want to drive TKF 100% by solar energy (in case there is no stock batteries power) Solar panel capacity required =(TKF input power x TKF running time <hours>/sunshine
time <hours> x80%

If you want to drive TKF by hybrid (solar energy + AC electricity), you can save hours to use electricity for air conditioning = solar panel capacity x sunshine time <hours> x80%

/TKF input power

a) Please find the input power of solar air conditioner in specification sheet. For example, the input power of TKF（R）-20GW is 420W for cooling and 450W for heating.

b) The power supply from solar panel is about 80% of rated capacity. For example, 1 pc of 180W solar panel can provide around 145 watt per hour. (Exact output capability see

specification sheet from supplier of solar panels).

Q5: Do you need inverter to make DC power to AC?

Inverter is NOT required for our solar air conditioners. Inverter will increase cost of solar air conditioner system. In addition, inverter will loose 25% power when it works.
Compressor and fan motor of solar air conditioners are all 48V DC powered. So we don't use inverter with our system to reduce cost and save energy.

Q6: What is the function of battery?

Battery is the power station for solar air conditioners, which can deposit power in daytime,and provide energy for air conditioner operation in evening.20% power of batteries full
capacity will be reserved in batteries. When stock power less than 20%, solar air conditioner will be turned off automatically.

Q7: Which kind of batteries required for your solar air conditioners?

12V DC (min 4 pcs) or 6V DC (min 8 pcs)

Q8: Which included in your solar air conditioner system?
We provide you high wall split indoor and outdoor units, including power cable. Solar panels and batteries are NOT included. Pls buy them from other suppliers or buy from us.
Insulated copper tube is optional.

Q9: Sunshine solar air conditioner is 100% driven by solar panels?
Solar air conditioners can be 100% driven by solar panels and batteries. 

But pls consider the cost of solar panels. In case solar panels size (or capacity) is not to provide energy power to air conditioner, you can choose hybrid mode, to charge batteries by AC electric power.

Q10: What will happen when batteries are not enough to drive air conditioner?
We set all kinds of protection function: Hi/Low voltage, Hi/Low current and Anti-shock etc.
20% power of batteries full capacity will be reserved in batteries. When stocked power is less than 20%, solar air conditioner will be turned off automatically.

Q11: What functions else included?
"Auto-restart" function: All previous setting (mode, temp. fan speed etc) will be reserved
after each power off. "Timer" function will help you to set auto ON/OFF time. Real 24Hr. setting make it easy to set auto ON/OFF time of operation.
